Based upon a standard tool, Advent Tool has perfected the insert form necessary to mill 3 or more splined teeth at a time in a traditional 4 Axis CNC machining center. Standard #ATM-410 inserts have often been used for unusual forms; but the ability to generate three accurate forms on a curved surface was key.
